Every Stryker Radio comes from the factory with a 1-year limited warranty. "Limited" means that we will repair problems caused by factory defects or normal use at no charge. Work performed by qualified technicians which did not cause any damage to the radio will not void the warranty and will be left intact. This warranty is also limited to the radio only. Problems caused by unqualified technicians, operator abuse or other miscellaneous catastrophes can also be repaired, but there will be a $35 Labor charge plus any parts needed. The warranty period begins when the radio is first purchased. Our warranty comes with the radio and is non-transferrable.
There are no off-site "Factory Authorized" service centers for Stryker Radios. All warranty work must be done at our facility. For maximum convenience, your radio may be shipped directly to us for repair after obtaining a Repair Authorization Number (RA#). This RA# may be obtained by filling out our RA Request Form on our website (best method) or by calling our Service Department at 910-221-1086 Monday through Friday between 10am and 5pm eastern time . Be sure to have a pen and paper ready along with the serial number of your radio before calling. We will give you the RA# and our shipping address. The RA# must be written below your return address on the outside of the shipping box. Boxes which arrive without RA # will be refused, and the shipping company will return the unopened box to you.
When you send your radio in, please include a copy of the sales receipt and a note with a detailed description of the symptoms, especially if they are intermittent. This will help our technicians locate the problem and eliminate wasted time sending the radio back and forth. If possible, please include a daytime phone number in case our technicians have any questions. Do not send your bracket, power cord or microphone unless we ask you to. You are responsible for getting your radio to us safely and that means radios should be double boxed for protection. Do not ship your radio to us packaged in only the factory radio box because we are not responsible for damage due to poor packaging on your part. You must pay to ship the radio to us, and we will pay to ship the radio back to you. Since we use UPS and they do not ship to Post Office boxes, please provide us with a full street address for the return of your radio. Be sure to print clearly. We appreciate you choosing a Stryker Radio and we will make every effort to get you back on the air as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, there are no off-site "Factory Authorized" Stryker Radio service centers at this time, and although we are more than happy to repair your radio in our facility, it may be several days (including shipping time) before you and your radio are reunited. There are, however, many technicians across the country who are more than able to repair most of the problems you may encounter. In some instances time means more than money, and a free repair isn't worth waiting for. By emailing our tech support , we may be able to supply you with the name of a shop near you that can complete the repair in a timely manner. |
